BBQ chicken is something I can enjoy year-round! It doesn’t have to be summer for me to enjoy it! What’s great is you can make this recipe a few different ways. You can bake, grill, or air fry the chicken wings, which is my preference.

Another great reason to air fry these is if you’re craving BBQ during the winter months and don’t want to brave the cold for the grill or maybe you live in an apartment and don’t have a grill.

What BBQ Sauce to Use

I love the variety of sauces provided by Primal Kitchen. You may have heard me mention Primal Kitchen recently in my Air Fryer Fish Sandwich recipe. It’s drizzled in some amazing tartar sauce!

Their BBQ sauces are just as good! What I love about their products is they are sugar-free, dairy-free, and Whole 30 approved. Most store-bought sauces are sweetened and loaded with sugar. It’s nice to have an unsweetened version!

For this recipe, I wanted a variety of options, so I used the Classic, Hawaiian, and Mango Jalapeno flavors. Each flavor has the hint of smoky flavor I need for BBQ!
