If you need some easy, fruity shots, these are the ones! Whenever I make these White Gummy Bear shots, folks are asking what’s in them before they even finish the first one. They’re fruity with a little fizz, and they really do taste like the candy. You don’t need a bunch of fancy ingredients either. Just shake, pour, and enjoy.

White Gummy Bear Shot Ingredients

  • Raspberry vodka: Brings that bold, fruity kick that makes this shot taste like candy without being overly sweet.
  • Peach schnapps: Adds a juicy peachy flavor that smooths everything out and helps hit that gummy bear vibe.
  • Sweet & sour mix: Gives the perfect balance of tang and sweetness.
  • Sprite: Tops it off with fizz and a touch of citrus, pulling everything together and making it super easy to sip.

What is a White Gummy Bear Shot?

It's a fun, fruity shot that tastes surprisingly close to the candy it's named after, specifically the pineapple-flavored white gummy bears. It's popular at parties and bars because it's sweet, easy to drink, and doesn't taste strongly of alcohol.

How to Make White Gummy Bear Shots

Detailed measurements and full instructions can be found in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

  1. Start with ice: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice so everything stays cold and crisp.
  2. Add raspberry vodka: Pour in raspberry vodka. This is your fruity base.
  3. Pour in peach schnapps: Add peach schnapps for that sweet gummy flavor.
  4. Add sweet & sour mix: Add a splash of sweet & sour mix for a little tang to balance the sweetness.
  5. Shake it up: Pop the lid on the shaker and shake well, about 10 to 15 seconds until it’s nice and chilled.
  6. Strain into shot glasses: Strain the mixture evenly into shot glasses.
  7. Top with Sprite: Add a splash of Sprite on top of each shot for a fizzy finish.
  8. Optional garnish: If you’re feeling extra, you can rim the glasses with sugar or pop a pink gummy bear on a cocktail stick for garnish.

How to Make it into a Cocktail

Use 2 oz raspberry vodka, 1 oz peach schnapps, 1 oz sweet & sour mix, and top with Sprite. Give it a stir and enjoy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a gummy bear shot taste like?

It’s sweet, fruity, and super smooth—kind of like a pineapple or peach gummy bear with a little tang from the sweet & sour mix.

Can I make a big batch for a party?

Absolutely! Just multiply the ingredients by however many shots you need. Mix everything but the Sprite ahead of time, then top each shot with a splash of Sprite right before serving.

Do I have to use raspberry vodka?

Raspberry vodka is what gives it that signature flavor, but if you only have regular vodka, you can add a splash of raspberry syrup or liqueur to make up for it.

Can I use something other than peach schnapps?

You could try apricot or mango liqueur, but peach schnapps really hits that gummy bear flavor best.

Is it strong?

It’s a shot, so it’s got alcohol, but it doesn’t taste strong. The vodka is balanced out by all the fruity flavors, so it goes down easy—maybe too easy.

Do I need a cocktail shaker?

It helps get everything cold and mixed, but if you don’t have one, just use a mason jar or anything with a lid that can handle ice.

Can I make it non-alcoholic?

Yep! Use raspberry lemonade in place of vodka and peach juice or peach-flavored soda instead of schnapps. Still fun and fruity without the alcohol.

Can I garnish the shot?

For sure. A little gummy bear on a toothpick makes it cute, or rim the glass with sugar for extra sweetness.
