Baby Shower Punch Ingredients
- Frozen Limeade Concentrate
- Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
- Ginger Ale or 7-Up: Even Sprite will work. These are or a popular choice because it adds citrus flavor without overpowering the other flavors.
- Sherbet Ice Cream: Rainbow is fun and colorful. It adds a mix of fruity flavors and creates a pastel, festive look. Raspberry, orange, and lime will also work. Since we already have orange and lime flavors, I like to go with something else here!

How to Make Baby Shower Punch
Detailed measurements and full instructions can be found in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Add the concentrates: Scoop the frozen limeade concentrate and frozen orange juice concentrate into a large punch bowl.
- Pour in the soda: Slowly add the ginger ale or 7-Up, stirring gently until the concentrates dissolve and the mixture is well combined.
- Add the sherbet: Scoop the sherbet ice cream on top of the punch. It will float and create a creamy, frothy layer.
- Let it foam and chill: Allow the sherbet to soften slightly and blend into the punch for a smooth, bubbly texture.
- Serve immediately: Ladle into cups and enjoy while cold and fizzy.

Ingredients
- 12 oz frozen juice concentrate I used 6oz limeade and 6oz orange juice.
- 52 oz lemon lime soda or ginger ale I used 7-up.
- 1 quart sherbet ice cream
Instructions
- Add the frozen juice and soda to the punch bowl or pitcher and stir.
- Top with scoops of sherbet. You should notice foam due to the fizz of the soda and the texture of sherbet. You can skim the foam off the top if you wish. The longer the punch sits, the more this will subside. Some also love the fizz at the top!
- Serve chilled.

Frequently Asked Questions and Recipe Pro Tips
You can add additional sweetener or sugar. You can also add in honey or simple syrup. Adjust the amount used to suit your taste.
Use sparkling water instead of soda, reduce the sherbet, or add fresh citrus juice.
You can mix the limeade concentrate + orange juice concentrate several hours ahead and keep it covered in the fridge. This actually helps the flavors come together.
Wait to add the ginger ale or 7-Up until right before serving so it stays bubbly.
Add the sherbet at the very end. That’s what gives the punch its creamy foam and party-ready look, and if it sits too long it melts completely and loses the magic.
Add Ice to the Punch Bowl: Place ice cubes or an ice block in the punch bowl before adding the punch mixture. This will help keep the punch cold without diluting it too quickly.
Individual Serving Stations: Consider serving the punch in individual cups or glasses with ice. This allows guests to keep their drinks cold and reduces the risk of the entire batch warming up too quickly.
Yes, this punch is naturally alcohol-free and perfect for guests of all ages.
Yes, any lemon-lime soda, ginger ale, or even sparkling water works depending on how sweet you want it.
