This Baked Parmesan Herb Crusted Salmon is a quick and easy recipe that only takes 20 minutes to make. The salmon is drizzled in olive oil and breaded with garlic, herbs, and cheese for a crispy topping.
Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon and then sprinkle the seasonings throughut.
Combine the parsley, garlic, and cheese in a small bowl and stir. Sprinkle on top of the salmon.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and add the salmon. Cover with another piece of parchment paper.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove the parchment paper and bake for another 5 minutes.
Allow the salmon to cool before serving.
Notes
You can make my homemade BBQ rub using the following: 1 teaspoon brown sweetener or sugar, 1/4 teaspoon chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder.
If you are looking for crunchy salmon you can add breadcrumbs. Add 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs to the cheese mixture. Dredge the salmon in an egg first and then coat the entire fillet in the breadcrumbs mixture. Bake time remains the same.
