Ninja Slushi Shamrock Shake

You already know I’m not waiting in a drive-thru line for a Shamrock Shake when I can make one at home that tastes even better. This Ninja Slushi Shamrock Shake is thick, creamy, perfectly minty, and that nostalgic green we all grew up loving. I’ve been making frozen treats long before fancy machines were a thing, so trust me when I say this method gives you that real milkshake texture, not watered-down ice milk.

Instructions

  • In a large cups or a pitcher, whisk together milk, granulated sugar, pure mint extract, and green food coloring. Whisk until fully combined. Taste the mixture. Add more mint if it needs it. If it has too much mint, add more milk.
  • Pour the mixture into your Ninja Slushi. Press milkshake for the Ninja Slushi.
  • Allow the machine to process. Let the machine run for 15-45 minutes, depending on the sugar content and temperature of the liquid. Mine took 20 minutes.
  • Once the cycle is complete, place a cup under the self-serve spout and pull the handle to dispense the milkshake.

Notes

I use monkfruit sweetener and monkfruit chocolate syrup to save on calories.
How to Make The Shake Without a Ninja Slushi Machine: A high-powered blender or an ice cream maker works too, just blend until thick and creamy. You will need to use a lot of ice and taste the drink to decide if you need to add more of the ingredients for flavor.
