Ninja Slushi Orange Julius Milkshake

If you grew up sipping Orange Julius at the mall, get ready, because my Ninja Slushi version tastes just like you remember, but colder, creamier, and way easier to make at home. I’ve been running this machine since it dropped, so trust me when I say I’ve tested the ratios, fixed the mistakes, and dialed this recipe all the way in. This orange milkshake freezes perfectly, blends silky smooth, and delivers that sweet citrus-vanilla vibe every single time.

Ingredients

  • 3-4 cups orange juice Use less orange juice for less orange flavor and more (4 cups) for more orange flavor.
  • 1 ½ cups milk Any milk will work. I used whole milk because it will create thick texture.
  • ¾-1 cup sugar or sweetener Adjust to suit your taste and add more if you like it really sweet.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Combine milk, sugar/sweetener, and vanilla extract before adding to the Ninja Slushi Machine. Stir to ensure the sugar/sweetener completely dissolves.
  • Pour the mixture along with the orange juice into your Ninja Slushi. Press the milkshake button.
  • Allow the machine to process. Let the machine run for 15-45 minutes, depending on the sugar content and temperature of the liquid.
  • Once the cycle is complete, place a cup under the self-serve spout and pull the handle to dispense the milkshake.
