Ninja Slushi Frosé Slush

If you’ve ever tried making frosé at home and ended up with a chunky mess or something more like a smoothie than a slush—don’t worry, I’ve been there. That’s exactly why I tested and re-tested this Ninja Slushi Frosé until it was just right. My version nails the perfect texture: smooth, icy, and sip-ready in minutes without watering down the flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle rosé wine 750ML/25 ounces
  • ½-1 cup sugar or sweetener Adjust to suit your taste. I used ½ cup
  • 5-6 cups frozen fruit I used a mix of cherries and strawberries

Instructions

  • Combine water, frozen fruit, wine, and sugar or sweetener in a blender and blend until well combined. Taste repeatedly and make adjustments to suit your taste if needed.
  • Add the mixture to the Ninja Slushi Machine. Be sure not to exceed 64oz. Prepare the drink in batches if necessary. Power on the machine and press Spiked Slush.
  • Allow the machine to churn and freeze the mixture until the machine beeps to signal the cycle is finished. You can adjust the thickness of the mixture using the side panel. The slush should take 20-45 minutes. Mine took less than 20 minutes.
  • Pull the lever on the spout to dispense the drink. Serve.

Notes

During my testing I found, if you want a thick slush you have to had some frozen fruit to thicken it up.
How to Make it Using a Blender: A high-speed blender with a slush or ice crush setting can work best. If using a normal blender, add ice and continue to blend (and add more ice) until the slush reaches your desired texture.
