  • 6 ounces eggnog Adjust to taste
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • whipped cream Optional

Instructions

  • Add 1-2 ounces of alcohol to 2 glasses. Pour in the eggnog and stir.
  • Taste the spiked eggnog and adjust the sweetness or alcohol content to your liking. You can add more spirits if desired.
  • Top with cinnamon and nutmeg. Add optional whipped cream if preferred.

Notes

You can triple, quadruple, etc the ingredients used in the recipe to make it for a crowd. Place the store-bought eggnog in the refrigerator to chill. It's best to use eggnog that is already cold. In a large mixing bowl or pitcher, combine the chilled eggnog, your choice of spirits, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
Stir the ingredients well to ensure an even distribution of flavors. If time allows, refrigerate the spiked eggnog for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld. However, you can also serve it immediately.
