How to Make Queso Dip!

This Smoked Queso Dip is made using cheddar, pepper jack cheese, cilantro, and a homemade spice blend. 👉

Ingredients

– Cheddar cheese – Cornstarch – Unsalted butter – Onion  – Garlic cloves  – Fire roasted tomatoes – Green chilies – Half and half *ingredient details below

Step 1

Add shredded cheese to a bowl with the cornstarch and stir. Place a skillet on medium-high heat.

Step 2

Add butter, stir until melted. Add in onions and garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until translucent and fragrant.

Step 3

Reduce the heat to medium and add in the spices, cilantro, fire roasted tomatoes, the cheese, half and half, and milk.

Step 4

Stir continuously until the cheese has melted. Stir until the dip is thick.

Step 5

Place the dip on the smoker. Smoke for 2-3 hours.
