– Mashed, ripe bananas  – Vanilla extract – Melted butter – Unsweetened applesauce – Eggs – All purpose flour – Cinnamon – Sweetener *all ingredients listed below

Step 1

Combine the mashed bananas, vanilla extract, melted butter, beaten eggs, and unsweetened applesauce in a small bowl.

Step 2

In a separate large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sweetener, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon.

Step 3

Add the wet ingredients (banana mixture) to the dry ingredients (flour mixture). Mix with a wooden spoon.

Step 4

Pour the banana bread batter into a loaf pan. Bake for 40 minutes.

Step 5

Open the oven and tent the pan with foil. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Allow the banana bread to cool.
