This Creamy BLT Dip Recipe is loaded with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and cream cheese. It also includes the best homemade ranch seasoning mix. Serve this party appetizer dip cold or baked and warm.

This dish will make a great addition to any party spread. A lot of people are really picky about mayo, and this recipe is made with no mayo! It also has crunchy bacon bits sprinkled throughout. Who doesn't love bacon?

This dip combines all of the classic flavors of a BLT sandwich, and converted into a dip that is low carb and keto, too!

It is also so easy to make! I like to use my air fryer to make crispy bacon. You can check out my Air Fryer Bacon recipe here and read about how I do that.

How to Make BLT Dip

  1. Gather softened cream cheese (either at room temperature or microwave for about 15-20 seconds) and combine it with Greek yogurt or sour cream in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add in the homemade ranch seasoning and stir.
  3. Spread the dip into a serving dish.
  4. Top with lettuce, bacon, and tomatoes.

Homemade Ranch Seasoning

I like to make my own ranch seasoning for this recipe. The ranch seasoning packets have additives and preservatives like maltodextrin, which is highly processed from potatoes and corn. It is closely related to corn syrup solids, which is basically sugar. I use the same ingredients that I use my Keto Low-Carb Ranch Dressing.

Ingredients

  • Dried Dill
  • Garlic Powder
  • Dried Chives
  • Onion Powder

How to Serve the Dip Hot and Warm

Substitute the lettuce for green onions. Bake on 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until the dip bubbles.

What to Serve With the Dip

What goes with the dip? Just about anything you can think of!

  • Fresh Vegetables like celery, carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli
  • Parmesan Cheese Crisps
  • Toasted Baguettes
  • Crackers
  • Chips

Can The Dip Be Made Ahead of Time? How Long Will the Dip Last in the Fridge?

The dip will last covered in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.

If you are making it ahead of time, save the lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon toppings for when the dish is served. That way the bacon is crunchy and the vegetables are fresh.

Can You Freeze the Dip?

Because this dip is made with dairy ingredients, if frozen it will have separation and become watery. A frozen cheese or cream dip would either be crumbly or watery when it is thawed. I would not freeze this dip. You can read more about How to Freeze Dips here.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened either at room temperature or microwave for about 15-20 seconds
  • 1 ½ cups Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce I use romaine.
  • 5 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup fresh diced tomatoes I used 1 medium tomato.

Ranch Seasoning (You can use 2 tablespoons of pre-mixed ranch seasoning if you wish)

  • 1 teaspoon dried chives You can use fresh if preferred.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill You can use fresh if preferred.

Instructions

  • Add the cream cheese and Greek yogurt to a large bowl.
  • Add in the spices for the ranch seasoning and stir.
  • Transfer the mixture to a serving dish (an 8 or 9 inch will work).
  • Top with the shredded lettuce, cooked bacon, and tomatoes.

Video

Notes

  • To serve the dip warm substitute the lettuce for green onions. Bake on 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until the dip bubbles.
  • Because this dip is made with dairy ingredients, if frozen it will have separation and become watery. A frozen cheese or cream dip would either be crumbly or watery when it is thawed. I would not freeze this dip.

This recipe is awesome! Have made 3 times so far as something refreshing that is still keto-friendly. I highly recommend serving it cold, and dipping celery and red bell peppers in it. Thanks Brandi!!

This is so good! I even made the dip by itself another day to dip my chips in it. DELICIOUS!!! Goodbye store bought packaged ranch dip powders that have all kinds of unhealthy additives like msg. Thank you for this wonderful recipe!
