Health Benefits of Barilla
This pasta is made with just one ingredient, chickpeas. It’s a good source of protein and an excellent source of fiber. It is also naturally gluten free, certified non-GMO, and without sodium or cholesterol
There are so many ways to incorporate this pasta into your diet and lifestyle. What I love is that chickpeas aren’t heavy. You can satisfy your cravings for pasta while still feeling good afterward. A lot of times when I eat a pasta dish loaded with starch, it does not agree with my body.
This pasta is fueled with protein and will definitely keep you feeling charged and great.
Where to Buy
The product is available at Target. You can shop in store, online, or via pick-up and delivery. I snagged mine online.
There is also a Red Lentil Penne available at Target.
I whipped up a dish using the chickpea rotini, pesto, steamed broccoli, and sundried tomatoes. I also did a taste test to compare the taste of Barilla Chickpea Pasta to other healthy alternatives.
What stands out for the Barilla Chickpea Pasta is the flavor! When combined with fresh veggies and just a little pesto, it made such a delicious meal! You can eat it as a small side dish, or load it up with even more veggies like spinach, artichokes, cucumbers, mushrooms, and more!
The package includes directions how to cook the pasta perfectly to achieve al dente texture, and it also provides guidance how to cook it a little longer if you prefer soft pasta.
